Raptor Spirit Spanish Cedar Key Eb minor
Crafted from Spanish cedar, this flute features the distinctive Raptor Spirit fetish and is adorned with laser-engraved diamond patterns—running along both sides of the bore and encircling the flute with two radial bands: one at the foot and another just above the finger holes. The flute is engraved with a series of diamond patterns, each featuring a central circle. Though added primarily for visual beauty, this symbol has deep resonance. The diamond has long been seen as a symbol of structure, clarity, and balance, while the circle at its center may represent inner vision, spiritual focus, or the sacred self. Together, they form a pattern that evokes the idea of seeing from the center—bringing focus, harmony, and connection to the breath and voice of the player.
- Mellow voice with lots of volume
- Length 25.75" Bore dia. 1"
- L/B Ratio = 18.5
- High gloss French polish finish

There is a cosmetic defect where the radial diamond bands overlap slightly on the underside of the flute. This misalignment is purely visual and does not affect sound or playability. A photo is included on this page for full transparency, so you can see clearly what you're purchasing.
This flute is intended for intermediate to professional players. The key of D#/Eb is not commonly found in backtrack music or mainstream recordings (such as the related key of Gb major), but it possesses a unique and potent energy. Personally, I turn to this key when I’m feeling overwhelmed—its voice has a way of quieting the mind and lifting the spirit, often when I need it most.
About the wood:
Though known as Spanish cedar, this wood is technically a subspecies of mahogany. It is light in weight, warm in tone, and subtly aromatic. Energetically, Spanish cedar is associated with cleansing, clarity, and gentle protection—helping to create a calm, focused space for emotional release and spiritual reflection. It’s also known to support safe expression and encourage inner stillness during times of transition or healing.
Unlike aromatic cedar, Spanish cedar is generally well-tolerated by those with sensitivities or allergies, making it a good alternative for players seeking both beauty and comfort.
