Orca Native American flute Key Eb
SKU: D#190606-1
D#m4 (E flat) Native American style flute made of lightly spalted maple. This flute was inspired by a trip we took to Lime Kiln State Park on hte San Juan island in Washington. That day we watch 3 pods of Orca's from North to South and then returned early evening from South to North. According to the park ranger this was a rare experience.
The handcarved orca two piece block enable the flute to have two tunings A=432 Hz. and A=440 Hz. Hence I call this type of flute a Gaia flute (Gaia being the Greek goddes of Earth). There are three laser engraved orcas along the bore.
Due to the length and hole distance between H2 and H3 this flute is for a player that feels comfortable playing lower flutes, like F or E.
