This Native American style drone flute is made of cypress with walnut head piece and birds. The upper bore is a conventional F flute. It will not only play a the pentatonic scale but a chromatic scale as well. The lower bore, or drone has the lower three tuning holes with leather covers enabling a variety of modes in playing. It has some interesting possibilities, particularly when one hand plays the upper three holes on the top bore and the other hand plays the lower three holes on the drone bore.
